Provisional grid fees for 2025 are available on the energy platform

The provisional grid fees for 2025 have been published by the grid operators and are already stored in enPORTAL connect. Customers of the IT service provider can now view the expected energy costs for this and recognise what energy costs they are likely to incur for electricity or gas.<\/p>\n

Gas up dramatically, electricity down slightly<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Contrary to the forecasts of market participants, grid fees in the electricity sector are unexpectedly falling by between 6 % and 11 %, depending on the meter structure, while gas grid fees are rising dramatically. Gas grid fees for commercial customers are currently expected to rise by an average of 23 %. This cost development is presumably due to changes in the way network operators amortise the costs of dismantling the gas network and the loss of revenue until 2045.<\/p>\n

Preliminary values<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The grid fees can still be adjusted by the Federal Network Agency until the end of the year. Currently, around 95 % of the provisional grid fees have already been published and updated on our platform. The remaining charges will be updated automatically as soon as they are published. However, the provisional values already provide enPORTAL customers on the energy platform with a good basis for starting their business planning and estimating their expected energy costs. This ensures greater transparency and security in all aspects of energy purchasing and energy data management.<\/p>\n
