This gives companies and interested parties the opportunity to view the expected energy costs for the coming year at an early stage and incorporate them into their planning.

Development of grid fees: electricity falls, gas rises

The current figures show the following development: In the electricity sector, grid fees are falling - depending on the meter structure - by around 16 % in the low voltage and up to 26.5 % in the medium voltage. For many companies, this means a noticeable reduction in electricity costs.

In contrast, gas grid fees will increase by up to %. This development is likely to be due to changes in the depreciation methods used by network operators in connection with the dismantling of the gas network and the loss of revenue by 2045. It is therefore particularly important for companies with high gas consumption to factor these changes into their cost planning at an early stage.

Preliminary values offer planning security

The grid fees may still be adjusted by the Federal Network Agency before the end of the year. However, the current values already provide a solid basis for business planning and for estimating the expected energy costs.

Currently, around 99.9 % of the provisional grid fees have been published and updated on our enPORTAL connect platform. The remaining charges will be added automatically shortly after publication.

enPORTAL connect as a planning tool: Energy costs at a glance

With enPORTAL connect, users have access to the current grid fees at all times and can optimally calculate their energy costs for 2026. This creates planning security at an early stage and allows users to react flexibly to changes on the energy market.

If you have any questions about grid charges or using enPORTAL connect, the enPORTAL team will be happy to help you with your energy planning.

Über 99 Prozent der vorläufigen Netzentgelte auf der Energieplattform Die vorläufigen Netzentgelte für das Jahr 2026 stehen auf unserer Energieplattform enPORTAL connect schon bereit.
