The EEG levy 2020 was officially published today by the transmission system operators. It stands at 6.756 cents per kilowatt hour and has thus increased in price by 5.5 percent. The change of 0.351 ct/kWh is also reflected in the electricity costs of many industrial and commercial companies. enPORTAL customers can see the impact of the new EEG surcharge on their energy costs at a glance in the online portal. The value was set immediately after the official announcement and also stored in the "forecast" for the coming supply years in the online portal. This makes economic planning much easier for enPORTAL's commercial and industrial customers.
