At this year's E-world energy & water, enPORTAL is presenting numerous innovations for the energy industry with the aim of further digitalising and standardising energy processes. To this end, the IT service provider has, on the one hand, optimised the user interface on the electricity and gas marketplace for the around 650 energy suppliers in order to make participation in tenders even more efficient and individual. The new interface with the software company Soptim AG is another milestone to accelerate the calculation processes in sales. Numerous updates for suppliers on the electricity and gas marketplace

The current challenges in the energy market show how important security, speed and efficient working have become. For this reason, enPORTAL has comprehensively optimised its electricity and gas marketplace for the approximately 650 energy supply companies in order to simplify and accelerate the entire process surrounding electronic tenders. From now on, price offers within the scope of an electricity and gas tender can be prepared, saved and duplicated. The tender variants have also been multiplied, so that in addition to the previous fixed price and the horizontal and vertical tranche, the options spot market and portfolio are now possible. New notification filters help to be informed only about current tenders that are of interest to the supplier. The new interface with the software company Soptim AG makes it possible for the first time to automate the reading in of the tender data and the calculation. This completely eliminates the need for manual input, which leads to a minimisation of time and errors. "All updates reduce the workload for energy supply companies to a maximum and lead to more efficient sales and faster customer acquisition," emphasises Clemens Graf von Wedel, Managing Director of enPORTAL.

enPORTAL market leader: Free basic version for participants in a call for tenders

The current volatile energy market makes it difficult for energy suppliers to understand the rapid movements and to be able to classify them for themselves. The result is hesitant behaviour when submitting offers for electricity and natural gas prices. The data service "enPORTAL Market Leader" gives sales staff of energy supply companies immediate orientation on how energy prices are moving and where their own position in the market is located. The data service enables a look at the pricing and trends of others, which helps to make good cost forecasts or calculations. The enPORTAL market leader can be booked in three versions: Basic, Professional and Premium. The Premium Account is also a helpful tool for external parties such as banks, financiers or project planners. "We are offering the Basic service free of charge with immediate effect due to the current challenges, in order to send a signal that we understand the situation of utilities and want to support them," says Clemens Graf von Wedel, Managing Director of enPORTAL.

Digital PPA marketplace grows and sets standards

Since its market launch in 2021, enPORTAL's first digital PPA marketplace has recorded initial successes and continued positive developments. These include, on the one hand, tenders that have been carried out, such as for the Cement manufacturer Holcim with a volume of 50 gigawatt hours as well as new accounts from plant operators of renewable energy. The marketplace reaches all 650 energy suppliers who are equally connected to enPORTAL via the electricity and gas marketplace. One innovation is that from now on, plant operators can use data from the market master data register at the click of a button to create and manage their plants in the portal. "Negotiating PPAs is highly complex and we are of course still at the beginning of the process. However, we are pleased that we are already in good exchange with many market participants in order to continue to drive forward the energy transition in the area of green power supplies," sums up Clemens Graf von Wedel, Managing Director of enPORTAL. enPORTAL will present all the innovations to the energy industry at this year's E-world (Hall 1, Stand 338).
