enPORTAL has worked on the book "Supply it. Practical guide for purchasing & logistics in hospitals" and contributed a guest article on the topic of "Strategic energy purchasing". It contains tips and information from years of experience in the field of energy purchasing for electricity and gas. In a compact summary, it clearly shows what will be relevant in the future for energy purchasers in hospitals - but also for all other sectors - in the area of energy procurement and energy data management. The article shows, among other things, the various procurement models that exist in the energy market: from fixed price and tranche to portfolio management, the advantages and disadvantages associated with these are demonstrated in a practical way. The latest developments in the energy market are also highlighted and an outlook on future challenges is provided.
15 per cent market share in the hospital sector
enPORTAL customers include around 15 per cent of all German hospitals in Germany. "We have been advising well-known companies from the hospital sector since our foundation in 2008 and know the needs and requirements of this customer group very well.
