Publication of new charges and levies for gas from October 2022 - enPORTAL informs and updates data on time in the online portal

From 1 October 2022, some levies and charges for gas will change.

Firstly, there will be a gas procurement levy, which will be 2.419 cents per kilowatt hour and is scheduled to run until the end of March 2024.

The balancing surcharges, the conversion surcharge, the conversion fee and the VTP fee are fixed for a period of 12 months, the gas storage surcharge, which is levied for the first time, for a period of three months.

Conversion fee 0.45 EUR/MWh 0.45 EUR/MWh (0.045 ct/kWh)
Conversion levy 0 EUR/MWh 0.38 EUR/MWh (0.038 ct/kWh)
Gas storage levy / 0.59 EUR/MWh (0.059 ct/kWh)

In the Federal Council meeting on 16 September 2022, the values as well as the expected VAT reduction and impact on energy costs will be finalised. As soon as the actual results are fixed, we will inform you again and update all fixed values for our customers in the online portal by 1 October 2022.
