Grid fees rise by around 20 percent
The year 2023 will once again be more expensive for many companies in the industrial and commercial sectors. The grid charges will increase by an average of approx. 20 % for power-metered customers depending on the voltage level and the power. Until the end of the year, the grid charges can be changed by the Federal Network Agency, but with the provisional values you can start your economic planning and better estimate the expected energy costs. Should there be changes to the grid charges as part of the relief package from the federal government, further information will of course follow once new legislation has been passed.
All enPORTAL customers can see all the current values stored in their account in the online portal and can already start economic planning. The individual costs and components are listed separately and are transparent.

In addition, the suspension of the SESTA increase for 2023 was confirmed by the Federal Council on 28 October. This means that the gradual increase in the SESTA levy will be postponed by one year at a time, which is taken into account in the cost calculations in the enPORTAL.
