KMG Kliniken was looking for support in the area of energy purchasing, specifically a solution that would enable the organisation to bundle energy purchasing. There was a desire to be able to manage all clinics and facilities centrally and digitally in order to achieve greater transparency and an overview. Frank Niemann, the Managing Director responsible for the technical service companies, was also looking for a partner to advise him on all aspects of energy purchasing relating to supplier status.

As all points of purchase (i.e. individual clinics and facilities) are clearly listed on the digital platform, Frank Niemann has a complete overview of all energy consumption data and can bundle energy purchasing according to his wishes. "I'm delighted with the transparent presentation of the points of purchase at Group level with load profiles and the support in the supplier status process with invoice processing for incoming and outgoing invoices," says Frank Niemann. Thanks to the digital energy marketplace with over 700 energy suppliers, energy buyers benefit from maximum competition in the energy market. The entire tendering process is completed in just a few hours, the digital processes begin with the request for quotation from the energy suppliers and end with the digital online contract, which is concluded in a legally secure manner with a click.

Thanks to the digital and competitive tendering process for the bundled energy requirements of the locations, it was possible to achieve prices in line with the market for the KMG clinics. FRÄNKISCHE pipe mills

In search of more efficient energy purchasing, FRÄNKISCHE Rohrwerke Gebr. Kirchner GmbH & Co. KG decided to use enPORTAL. In April 2016, the internationally active production company from Königsberg launched an online tender via the web-based marketplace for the first time. Good purchasing timing, short response times and the great competition among suppliers led to an immense reduction in costs: the pure energy price for electricity was reduced by 30 percent for the 2017 delivery year. Purchases were made by mouse click in less than two hours.

Heinzler Mechanical Engineering

Heinzler Maschinenbau GmbH is a European company with Bavarian roots with one site each in Bruckmühl and Hungary. The medium-sized family business specialises in classic areas of machine and overhead line construction as well as antenna technology. In order to make energy procurement more efficient and take greater advantage of competition in the energy market, Managing Director Robert Heinzler opted for the free commercial service from enPORTAL in July 2017. With the use of the online portal, standardised processes and competition among 620 suppliers, a saving of 9,000 euros for electricity and gas was achieved for 2018.
